Approving Timekeeping Entries

The time approval options allows supervisors to mark user time sheets as approved. If your company uses the ad-hoc reporting options, you can use approved status to determine which records are included on ad-hoc reports or are available for export. The Approved column indicates whether entries have been marked as approved.

Note that time records for users who are currently clocked in cannot be marked as approved. The user must be clocked out before approving the record. If a time sheet was previously approved and changes to the time data are made, the record reverts to unapproved status.
